These caster mounts are designed to make it easier to move your Quick Jack when it’s all the way down. Once installed, you can roll the jack around your garage or workspace without having to lift or drag it.
As soon as you start lifting the vehicle, the casters automatically clear the ground so the weight goes directly to the jack, not the wheels. A minimum of 7 inches of ground clearance is needed for this to work properly. The casters are not meant to be used while the car is lifted.
The casters include locking brakes, so you can secure the jack in place once it’s stored and prevent it from rolling. All mounting hardware is included, and the kit uses Teflon locking nuts so you don’t have to worry about anything coming loose over time.
